I just moved into the Charlotte area after a couple years out of state for school. I am trying to find people in or around Charlotte to paddle with I have been paddling for several years and am a pretty comfortable paddler just need to get back into the swing of southeastern boating again after my 2 years away. I am free all week if anyone is interesting in going to the whitewater center or somewhere else. If so just send me a message. mailto:Jj67886@gmail.com.
So I have been looking for these to try on with no luck. My biggest concern is how low profile these shoe are. For those who have tried how low profile are they, I am not able to wear tennis shoes or anything of that profile how do these 5.10 water shoes compare to other low profile paddle shoes.
I dont mean to sound despreat but im despreat (and my spelling sucks). lol. I live in North Carolina and I'm cumfy with up to class IV+s. I've paid out the azz for all the gear and private lessons but havent met people to just holler at and say " hey lets go run -such and such- " and just go. I'm waisting well spent/hard earnd money every day that i'm off work and don't haul off to the mts and paddle. Should I just be going by myself to the put in of where I want to paddle and hope there will be people there that won't mind me paddling with them? Although it really would suck if I was to drive over 2hrs and there was no one there. Just hit me up cuz i'm ready to saddle up and head out at a moments notice (providing im not working). My email is mailto:email@example.com and phone is 1-980-621-5167.
