more Nothing particularly wrong with PVC boats, it's all about fabric weight and construction.

The Tomcat is an economy version of the Lynx. It has a PVC bladder as well as skin, which makes it heavier, it doesn't have as many tie downs and there are several other things done for cost savings. That said, it still is a pretty durable boat and will last for years with proper care.

The Outlaw is NRS's lightweight version of the Mavarick. They save that weight by using a lighter material, which in my experience means a less durable boat. You don't get almost a 25 percent weight savings without some payback.
