Ran Big Hungry at 12 inches the other day. Had quite a few solid trees down but all passable. One of the easier Boulder garden rapids had a tree in RL.
Although there were some other trees down all was passable but the entrance rapid to the mini gorge near the end. The top of a tree was solidly wedged in the drop hanging from RR. About 6 inches in diameter but none of us had a saw. Could be cut out in sections fairly easily.
We portaged on RR by walking along the narrows gorge wall and seal launched back in to finish the last two rapids in the gorge.
At higher water it would be hard to catch the Eddy on RR to portage or to remove the tree.
Keep an eye out
