note Take your swimming suit, goggles ect. in case you change your mind and want to try it out
I paddled a decked c-2 for 2 years with a a high school friend. We could not roll it,swimming got old. Freshman year at college I found out about the paddling club. My mission was to learn how to roll a kayak, then buy one. It took me about 10 pool sessions to learn to roll (1978). I was deemed unteachable after about 6 times. I did a back deck/ screw roll by accident and then was chastised as doing an improper roll ( C-C Nazis). It does not take very long to learn these days. My wife did at least a couple hand roll her first day. I would not waste any days watching- the more pool time the better.
