Personal info: Getting back into paddling after a few years. Took my first kayak class from Ken Kastorf in August of 1982 or 83.  There were two women in My class.  One married the other instructor and the other woman recognized me at the NOC years later but wanted to meet Jim and Ginger on the Tuck.  Thanks to all the picked me up at the Nanty or Ocoee.  My apoligies to the older ladies from Macon GA.  MY Bad

Met Ginger Kinney and Kathy Van Valkenburg in late Eighties on the Nanty. They were good paddling partners and great friends.  I miss them both! Loved the NOC until about 1995. The NOC got too big and the boats got too short.

Have some wild river stories to tell if I get arounf to them;-)

I would paddle a long boat (10') if I could. My wrists are shot.  Don't understand all this boat stealing.   Still love the Nanty, especially Surfing Rapid.  Want to find a summer home to rent or house to buy in the Gorge.
