Used to hair boat in the 90's. I had an epiphany in 2001 on the Watauga at 900 cfs, thought I was going for the eternal recirc, worst beatdown I ever had. Decided to settle down a bit and have kids. We lost our first daughter at Duskin, (not boating, a mis-carriage at three months), my wife and I ran it at a good flow a week later, still the most therapeutic run I've ever made, and fond memories ever since.
