What I do when I'm not paddling: welder/fabricator/artist/ornamental metal contractor/historic home remodeler/kayak instructor/raft guide/video boater/beer cart driver at country clubs/ fine dining waitress 

I enjoy snowboarding and do a little mountain biking, but I'm not very good at either of them. Paddling is about the only sport I've ever been good at! I draw, paint, and play the violin.

About my wedding: I was married to my awesome husband, David, on April 12, 2003. We got married at the Tellico River, on a rock between Baby Falls and Diaper Wiper. Instead of walking down the aisle, we ran the falls and got out to meet the minister and say our vows. Then we finished the run. We will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary!!
