Favorite Runs: Now mostly Eternity (15 minutes from my desk), and the Cheoah, NFFB when I can go back, Nanty, Ocoee, Chattooga 3.5, way back when -- Chattooga IV, Russell Fork, WFFB, Ocoee

2008: Didn't boat more than 3 times from 1990ish till 2007. Glad to be back on the water!!! Am learning to handpaddle but haven't progressed beyond the Ocoee.
2009: Just ran the NFFB for the first time since maybe 1987 -- it was AWESOME fun. Just ran the Cheoah at 1000 + lots of natural flow, and it was EVEN MORE AWESOME!

Just ran the Green and had a blast but walked Chief, Pencil Sharpener, The Notch and Flume, Groove Tube, and Sunshine.Probably will run Chief next time, and maybe Groove Tube.Great river....
