This is my username for political information posts on BT. Since the 2000 election and the adoption of the so called "Patriot Act" I fell compelled to remain anonymous when posting political statements on this or any other internet forum as I simply do not trust the Ashcroft Justice Department to maintain the American spirit of free speech and open debate.

I post political info on BT under "TruthNotPC" because my fellow boaters are people I know to be generally fair and trustworthy people and I very much CARE what they think. I have rarely met a true whitewater boater that I didn't like - including those who paddle open boats or even those who still support GWBush:-)

I am a flaming social and environmental liberal, fiscal conservative and believe strongly in the River Gods. I could easily vote for a Republican, a Democrat or any other political candidate who shows common sense and sound logic. I have voted for Republicans (Nixon) Independents (John Anderson) and Democrats (Clinton). In 2004 I will be voting for the candidate I believe is best suited to remove the Bush Administration and I hope you will do the same.
