Personal info: I'm the director for Glendale Outdoor Leadership School in Spartanburg, S.C.  Our goal is to get people outside, whether kayaking, mountain biking, road biking or whatever. We hook people up with equipment and affordable instruction. We have a heavy focus on women and children and encourage people to realize they can enjoy kayaking on whatever level whitewater they feel comfortable. We also work with other non-profits such as the Boys and Girls Club and Big Brother Big Sister to help give them access to activities they wouldn't otherwise be exposed to.
My passion is the outdoors -- but my heart is always with kayaking! Best thing ever.
