Personal info: Footer is a nickname from me once being a barefoot waterskier. I started paddling as an open boater, but got tired of bailing and carrying, so switched to butt boating. From '94 to '02 I was the only class III/IV paddler in Mississippi, but now I live near the Smokies and am livin' large.
I am mostly happy on III/IV creeks, but have gotten to where I'd just as soon be paddling in the company of friends, as I would marking off another hair run. I like to see Class Vs, but I hardly run them anymore.
I loathe driving around and getting high water skunked. I'd rather wait a day, and know the flow:)
