Hello, my name is Aric Gonter.
Im 18 years old and just got into kayaking this year. My boat is a red 8.6 Dagger Mamba. If you see it floating down the river unmanned please stop it and send me an email! Just kidding, hopefully that will never happen. Anyway; I live in the Atlanta area in Georgia. Have a family vacation home in Tiger Georgia that I will be spending a lot of time in, especially around the summer. It is ten minute drive from the Bull Sluice on the Chattooga River.
As far as experience goes, Ive done the upper and lower parts of section three on the Chattooga. Looking to progress and learn at a safe pace. Hopefully get into section four later this year! Was taught whitewater kayaking by Billy Paul of Southeastern Expeditions. Would highly suggest to any other beginners or novices out there to seek out a clinic through that company. Great place to learn a foundation to grow upon.
