It may be 10 years old, but there is little if any to improve on this boat. My specs are: 6'3" 180, 35" inseam, size 12 feet. First off, the boat fits me well, its like it was designed just for me at my size! The thigh braces are much better than the new boats and I like the safety step out pillar. Seat is a great fit for me. The only negative about this boat is I believe that it could be considered hole bait. It is fast on flat water, good on whitewater speed wise, you probably won't win any races in it, but not everyone races anyway. It catches eddies with ease. Not the best big water boat, but it is great for what it is designed for, steep creeks. This boat was designed when Dagger was located in Tennessee, home to some really great creeks, and close to many others. So they must have known what this boat could take. The plastic is good and strong. The CFS is very easy to roll. Everyone is different, but the CFS in my opinion is a well designed boat. You're not buying a model T to compete in the Dakar rally here, this is a great boat for being 10 years old.
