The yellow surf kayak shown in the pictures is not the wood made kayak that was comment on. but a computer drawn model that was mold carved from foam and glassed over 3 layer deck 4 layer hull with kevler reinforced seamed with a titanum foot rest. fin boxes where molded in using fin boxes from a surf board.
I paddled the boat for two years and found the boat was very comfortable for a large paddler dropped into a wave with ease and was balanced very well but was much harder to roll than a standard play boat due to the flat hull.
