I just bought a used Y, and it is a cool little boat. I wasn't looking for a creek boat, but my buddy sold it to me cheap, so I figured I would get it. It is slow, and it has a low, small cockpit, but that is about all the negatives I can say. It is stable, fun, bouyant. It fits my 6'1" 225lb body pretty well, and has lots of foot room. I don't paddle play boats cuz I don't like to feel wedged in. This boat is pretty comfy, until it is time to get out, which is tight. All in all, a nice boat for a beginner, or a nice low water volume creek boat. I probably wouldn't use it on high volume, big water runs, as it is just not fast enough to make moves in heavy water. For what I do, it is perfect.
