I spent today paddling the upper St. Louis with Mr. Blue Bong. We paddled first wave, and surfed... AWSOME! I have never had so much fun in my life: It spun like nothing... linked ends like nothing... side surfed great... this is an awsome boat. The only draw back that I can see is the slow motionish part of the paddling. The hull is slow, but quick at the same time. I also paddled this boat down Blueberry Slide at Banning state park near Askove, Mn. The river was running at 2.8'. There was only a tiny little hydrolic, but I could play it. Weird... It actually spun on a foot long, by chute wide, by full depth hydrolic(about a foot deep). FUN! All I can say to sum this up is that this boat can play anything, and you can have alot of fun. The outfitting is great too... It comes with everything when bought new, but, since I bought mine used from Rob Farrel at Midwest Mountaneering, I didn't really need anything... he outfits his boats great, and this thing was like a couch! But, I did have to spend about three hours carving a nice bulkhead, and had to move the seat a little. It is perfect! Lots of FUN!!!!!!!!-uhh, sorry if I sound loopy, but FUN! I have not really had any river running in it, but rolling is great, and it has huge stability. Initiation is easy, and it doesent stop until you tell it to. If you are looking for a first "Subby(tm)" this is an awsom boat. And if you have been boating forever, it is still an awsome boat. Have fun! -Don Yarbrough-

Back from some flat water practice, and a trip to the Apple river play spot near the Dairy Queen. This thing is awsome. Once you start to get used to it, man you can put it all the way on the side, and surf, cartwheel, ect.... Even though that is a normal initiation, you can paddle it like that to. It has secondary stability up the wing-wang... This boat is to much fun.

Rob: Umm, I went to midwest today(2 Jun 2002), and I was questioned about ripping on your boat... sorry! I didn't mean to make it sound like I was ripping on it, but in my twisted, tired mind, it came out like that... It was supposed to be a complement. Sorry! See ya some time...
