Join in for the inaugural Chattajack 31 mile SUP/Kayak race. The event is set for Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Coolidge Park, Chattanooga, TN. From Chattanooga the course will pass Lookout Mountain and Moccasin Bend before traveling through, what many consider, the grandest canyon in the Southeast, the Tennessee River Gorge. After traveling the entire gorge the race will end at Haleâs Bar Marina in Nickajack Lake. The distance of the course is 31.5 miles. Chattajack 31 is WPA sanctioned. The event will begin with a mass start from Coolidge Park the morning of October 13th.

Motor boats will provide water and food supplies to racers during their 31 mile push. We've also reserved the Pot House so if racers need a break they can stop to rest, rehydrate, refuel for the final half. Brandon Ward will be flying around overhead getting scenic aerial shots to help capture the inaugural race. Shuttle will be provided for racers and gear from Hale's Bar Marina back to Coolidge Park.
