Jalama is the 5-th of December. I have been a bit lax about getting to this I suppose. New

It's the usual event, #12 that we have put on. Show up early if you want, camping is available pretty much anywhere. Randy and I will be there around the typical 2pm ish time on Friday. If your new to the event, it is an Expression Session where you get to strut and show your stuff with no entry fees, no paid judges (unless you want to pay someone) and only everyone there judging you on what you do. It's all about the fun and stoke of being at the beach with other ocean loving people that want to play. It's all camping and slots can be shared to save costs. Saturday night is the annual BBQ, Broken Paddle Margarita and movie/video night and good time. Sunday is more free surfing and packing up and leaving for most people.
We camp in the lower area almost straight in from the gate. Right near the hot showers (bring quarters, their hot not free!) and will be in a motor home close to the Showers where we get out power from. You can camp in any available spots and then go up and pay at the post. If you have any problems with that you can always ask us and we'll be happy to help you get figured out. If you get in late at night, just wait until morning to go pay, or the Rangers when they come around will remind you. We've been doing this a long time there and the Rangers at Jalama Beach have been very welcoming and helpful to us in doing this all along. If your bringing a trailer, there are full hookups on top the hill to the right as you come in, or you can go battery down were we are.
Any questions I can answer, please don't hesitate to ask!

And Geoff is just being a wussy cause it's his wife's birthday that weekend. And he won't even bring her to meet us for some reason! I keep telling him this has been going on lots longer than his marriage but he doesn't listen. I guess he wants to keep the marriage going longer than the event!
