I'm not sure why anyone would by a ski from someone who has no track record of making skis in the past.
The beauty of waveski is that they can be custom made for the individual paddler.
This ski has been made from a kayak that has no proven record of performance, how many people use/ rate a merlin ?
For a moulded ski, surely there should be scope to change the footloops and seating position?
Is it a good idea to purchase something that has been developed in a weekend and hasn't even been tested?
Custom ski manufacturers have years of experience in making skis for the individual.
If it were my bucks/pounds id go to someone with a proven track record of shaping skis.
Mega seem to make good kayaks so why make something that is a threat to kayaksurfing.
