With something like that near board surfers, it just provides fuel for the traditional surfer coment of kayakers "Go back to the river"
It would be good for Rock garden exploring! That includes try to get on top of the rock when the swell comes in and get left on top as it draws back...Playing games with the rock and the swell was how I used to practice for White water during low water stretches....
