Am wondering that with the number of backyard boatbuilders out there, would any event organisers consider an experimental boat/ homegrown boat catergory or class.

Would be a good way of sharing ideas, seeing what works promoting innovation and inspiring others to take up a hotwire and sanding block.

Any thoughts?
