I am looking to upgrade from my current beast - a 2-piece aluminum AB Manta Ray, 220 cm.

2-piece paddles are a lot easier for me to transport, but I am concerned about the relative fragility. I'm looking at the custom 2-piece listed below. This is for a Cobra Strike and will mostly be used on NJ's sandy beaches.
