Hello,

I will be visiting my son in San Clemente in a couple of weekends. He is an avid surfer, my wife and daughter are beginner surfers, and I am a kayak surfer. San Onofre sounds like the best bet for all of us to play together. What is the parking scene there? Seems that I have read somewhere that you need to either get there early or wait in line for an open space. How early is early on a July weekend? If we miss it and the parking is already full, any other suggestions in the area? We are not really into sitting in the car for very long.
