All said and done, I had about $140 left after Davenport 2010. I left it in the Paypal account to roll over for 2011. No one is getting rich off these contests. 2 weeks before Davenport 2010 I was certain I was going to lose money, and it was only some last minute entrants that pushed me into the black.

If you guys think you can put on a better/cheaper/more fun contest, go for it. If not, then STFU.

Yes, I am annoyed. It's exactly this type of backseat driving and nit-picking that makes no one want to organize anything. I've got a kid coming in August, so putting on Davenport 2011 was a serious consideration for me. If you want to do it, just do it. Otherwise, shut up.

Vince, I'm sure you'll come back with all kinds of friendly " Of nothing was meant by it, just trying to help", but this is your consistent mo. whine and complain about the contests, but not do anything yourself.

If you don't like the way contests are being run, do it yourself, or stop coming. But quit bitching about those of us that are doing the work.
