Especially since most of the SUP's are still using their training wheels and thus are falling in the water a lot. Nothing like a lot of thrashing the water around like a wounded fish to keep a shark interested. Now with the local pod of Orcas just up the coast in Dana Point things might get interesting!
Val hits the nail on the head about SanO. Crowds in the summer so you need to be in line to get into the park by 5:30am at the latest or you sit outside waiting somebody to leave. Then when you get in...GET IN THE WATER! If not, your going to really enjoy some close new friends on skis, sups, the ocassional lost kayaker and potentially the wild life mentioned above(sharks, not the sups). The waves can be fun but not world class.
