started planning a surf trip to costa rica 6 months ago.my buddy and me both have a mini mako surf kayak.Yesterday was our flight out and continental airlines would not take the boats
even though it say's on thier web site they accept kayaks up to 115 inches long and not over 50 lbs. our boats were in dakine sup travel bags were 109 inches long and weight was 49 lbs. I put a bunch of time and effort into this called the airline like 15 times asking them questions. We live va beach va. and drove to dca airport in washington so we could get on a larger plane (737) as the told us.anyway I hoping someone on here may have taken a boat that size
to costa rica.and to top it off we got this snowstorm hitting most everywhere now so flights are going nowhere for a few days.thanks for reading and if anybody can help me with this in any way would be soo great!
