It is full of water, then they are total pigs, not a big deal unless you are in continuous type water.  If you plan on running Class III with any freq.  buy a self bailer, you won't be sorry.

The more I think about this boaters needs I think a small Cataraft might be the very best choice, they are way easy to learn to row, only downside is they are quite a bit wider than a Puma/Super Puma.
