Hyside makes a gacoflex paint which matches most of their boat colors. If you have a blue Hyside, call up Hyside in Kernville, Ca and see what a pint or quart of Hyside Blue gacoflex costs. It is not cheap but the colors match amazingly well. They also have Hyside yellow and other gacoflex colors.

Your buddy is correct to not worry about the pin pricks. If they get bigger and more worrisome, you can add a small patch but that may be way down the line. Hysides are considered to be bomb proof boats and consistently last up to 20yers or more. You can also touch up that piprick with some black gacoflex paint. If that is a 2002 Hyside, you should have plenty more years of boating in it. jc
