hey...just found this site today.  been guiding for about 7 years.  anywho.  speaking of NY rivers, we just ran the maiden Moose voyage this past weekend.  my maiden voyage with the stick on the moose as well.  nice level, 4.5 feet.  little bony in the flats, though.  should be a decent spring, though.  still a fair amount of snow in the mountains, but that means that the air temp is still cold as hell.  yup, 30 degrees this weekend on the Moose.  Nothing like a frozen guide stick.  anyway, looking forward to an excellent year.  cheers.
