	before the k-pumps crap out, and you have to take them apart and mess with them. even after greasing they just don't seem to be made well. the ez just lasts a lot longer. i have no affiliation with whitewater designs but i do run a raft company and guides abuse shit so we know what lasts and what doesn't.
