although the boats you mention are "tougher" in metarial, the performance of the Sevylor is perfectly fine in Class 3 whitewater. I have paddled them several times down the Snake River in Hells Canyon, the entire Salmon River. And I have been a year round raft guide and now outfitter since 1995 and have lived and guided on almost every continent, spending in excess of 300 days a year on a river somewhere!

As I said, there is always a need for a product like Sevylor IK. Yes they are not as rugged and tough as Hysides and NRS's chinese and mexican made IK's but there is a need. Believe me, I have 10 IK in our fleet and they are all NRS Bandits. But there are several outfitters that use Sevylor IK's on Class 3 in ID and OT has a fleet of them.
