Both have Leafield valves that will inflate and roll much faster than the small valves (even if theres 2). the Maravias are 4" and softer than the 3" Sotar, I like the firmer Sotar(I take that If I'm by myself), My gf likes the Softer Maravia so I have 2 and strap them together if she's with me. I've only had them for 3 or 4 years but they're still like new. Several friends have Paco pads over 10 years old and they're still good as new also. Some people say Paco pads use the best foam and others deteriorate over time but I figure I could always cut it open and replace the foam then patch it  if it did. Aires pads are made in china and use the smaller valves, I don't know if the savings would be worth the risk.
