As to the warranty we warranty all of our products for 2 years with the option for an additional 3 for $99. So add on $99 and our products include a warranty for 5-years. I think the "no-fault" warranty is great but you do realize you're paying hundreds of additional dollars on each raft for it right?
Warranties in all industries are a money-maker for the manufacturer not a large benefit for the consumer. Warranties are almost never claimed after the first year. That said, whitewater rafts are a little different and I think the piece of mind knowing someone will take care of your damaged raft is worth something.
In general, the cost to ship your raft back to get the manufacturer for warranty is more expensive than having the repair made at your local whitewater supplier. I know some of the manufacturers cover the shipping costs but many don't. We take that into account and if we ever have a warranty claim (we haven't but we will) we'll pay for the customer to get it repaired locally.
As far as the comment about contact information we just didn't include it but since you asked you can contact me at:

Good input regarding the welding and I personally didn't know it went back to the mid 80's. I still agree it's an upgrade for welded PVC but I'm just saying we (and many others) haven't had issues with the glued PVC in years.
One great thing about this site is the knowledge if it's viewers.
