I sent NRS an email since they were on sale. HEre is the response:
Thank you for writing to us. Unfortunately we are discontinuing the Bandit line because the material has become too expensive for us to manufacture the boats and keep them at reasonable price. We will be replacing them with something in the future, possibly PVC. The Bandits are on sale because they are being discontinued. If you like that material in an IK, I would recommend snapping up one of the remaining ones at the sale price before they are gone.
