Last post raises an interesting question -- what is best paddle type for WW ducky? What do folks think?
Personally, because I already had a good touring paddle and a cheaper "recreational" paddle for touring backup, I have only used such paddles in my duckies and never noticed a problem.
Perhaps if I were a hard shell WW boater with experience with WW paddles, I would not be happy with my current paddles.
Also, the rivers I paddle, have flat sections.
It does seem like the WW paddles I've seen are on the shorter side -- maybe a bit too short for the wider duckies?
What type of paddles are folks out there using to ducky?

Second: The Boat People are one of the few retailers with a lot of ducky info on their website -- particularly ducky info that is not just clipped from the manufacturers marketing materials -- that in itself is a service to the community. Personally, I won't accept the previous poster's general conclusion about them (with no details in the body of the post -- just 7 words in the subject line to support the conclusion) unless I hear others chime in supporting that conclusion with some details of their own.
