I posted this in the boatertalk forum and one response said to ask here so here it goes

I'd like to get a good ducky and I am wanting opinions from anyone about what to get. For rivers like the Nantahala. I have been enjoying my whitewater kayak for really easy stuff, but I am just a chicken on fast rivers so instead of giving up I am going to buy a ducky. I will be able to enjoy the rivers with my husband and friends who kayak and I will have a great time.

I like the specs of this one, but there really aren't places good to demo duckies except the ones used by the river companies. I rented from NOC yesterday and love the ducky experience, but not the whole rental experience of waiting, safety video... If I am going to keep spending money on renting I may as well buy my own. And does anyone know what NRS ducky NOC uses? I can base a lot of my research on knowing the specs of their duckies. I'd like to find one more advanced (don't laugh) but not spend over $1000 new.

Anyhow, the http://www.advancedelements.com/attack.html looks like the thing for me. But if anyone has any opinions I'd love to hear them.
