I had my frame fabricated specifically so the motor would not push on rubber alone. Gordo New

It's not river ready yet. I put the motor on the mount and the plate that the mount is attached to flexes entirely too much. It will fatigue and break and my motor will become a feature of the river bottom where it falls. I'll have a support welded onto the top and the two upright tubes to either side and maybe even a "V" shaped support to the bottom to prevent the flexing. I'm not putting it into the water until I can get that done. I had it fabricated in Pocatello at Partner Steel (the folks that make Johnny Partner groovers and their outfitter camp stoves) but I may have to get the fix done here in Riggins.
