Idaho river levels are holding due to chilly June weather and late precipitation.

Yesterday the Middle Fork was at 4.8 feet on the MF Lodge gauge, about 1k CFS higher than average for the date, and the Main Salmon is holding at 21.6 feet or 32,600 CFS today, right at the average for the date. Cascade Reservoir was right at full pool level which means that the Main, Cabarton and North Fork sections of the Payette will have a normal season. The data stream for Deadwood Res. is down so I have no way to predict that source's effect on the South Fork Canyon and Staircase sections but I have no reason to think that it's any different than elsewhere in the state.

The Lochsa is running at 6.64 at the Lowell gauge, 9050 CFS or about 3000 CFS above average so it's rockin'! The Selway is running at 11,100 at the Lowell gauge which as best I can compute converts to 3.7 ft at Paradise, so a great level for that river as well.
