Used to paddle Momentums all the time back in the 90's. We used the bucket version. I did see a self bailer once. It might have been a retrofit, not sure. It wasn't comfortable because the momentums did not have large outer tubes, so the leg room wan't great, the floor sat too high.
The boats were well made and very light, the bucket versions. They had the old Halkey-Roberts valves with the high center stem. These valves are a pain in the ass, they break easy because if you step on them you break the stem.
I would say if you pick up one fairly cheap, maybe $500-600, it would be worth it. I wouldn't pay much over that though. They are made of Hypalon material, so repairs are fairly easy. They are no longer in production. Hope this helps. Dan
