OTOH, the Paddle Cat is hypalon and the JPW Culebra is PVC and seem to hold up fine. I ran my old Culebra down a lot of low water stuff and on a number of streams where the beavers had left all the sharpened willow stubs, never put a patch on it. Neither has the new owner.
