Most of the older rafts used what are called Military Valves that were held into the boot with six screws. Depending on the age of the Rikin, made either of metal or plastic. Most larger raft shops or stores like NRS carry replacements. I think that the hole pattern is pretty much standard so either type can be used as replacement. Hope this helps
