I think John McCain is the man the Dems need to beat right now. As an environmentalist I do not like his cut - but McCain seems to be one of the few Republicans (besides Chuck Hagel) that has an ounce of backbone and who has consistently been willing to take on the Rove/Bush slime juggernaught....
