If you mean that the use of a car to gain personal freedom should die, I'll have to disagree strongly.

There is hardly any other entity that can lead to personal mobility, both literally and figuratively.

It would be a shame if our unwillingness to find new sources of energy leads to the phasing out of the automobile.
