Meanwhile everyone else on my team did the rappel.   This is a picture of rigging one of the long ropes.  It's in a big coil below the rappeler.

Some climbed back up another rope we had rigged, while some others hiked a goat trail back to the top.   I had planned to do the latter.

After the rest of the team did the rappel, we started to derig the first rope.  I asked if we could leave a rope rigged overnight and let me sleep on the idea of doing the drop.  The team leader agreed, so we just derigged one rope.  We agreed to meet back at the parking lot in the morning.   I went to Neeshie's and spent the night in the cave.  
The next morning I drove back, the sun was out and it was a beautiful day.  We met and went back up the mountain. I am pretty damn nervous in this picture but I was feeling much better about the drop.   I did the full drop on Sunday, so I am back on for Bridge Day.  It was an awesome, awesome experience and I do not have any pictures of it on rope but I have a few from the bottom.

Anyway, that's one of the scariest things I've ever done.  Quite a rush.
