You are really not listening at all, just blabbering about stuff that you believe that I've said, not for one moment looking at what I actually said.
I was talking about how our *modern* military didn't use enough small unit tactics.
Will you open those eyes and ears and listen to what I have said instead of filling in what you think that I might have said? You sound remarkably like some of the other folks on here, who let their anger over their beloved country cloud their minds, only you do it over your beloved Marine Corps. Tell you what, I don't have anything against that Corps, I just think that they could save more of their soldier's lives if they improved their small unit tactics. The big joke is that a lot of high ranking Marine commanders think the same thing. Read the book Phantom Soldier by Marine NCO H. John Poole, where all of what I've talked about here is explained in detail. He explains what needs to be improved with the tactical training, how to get off the fire power addiction and what can be done to get the edge against opponents who are way better at using small unit tactics and infiltrating enemy lines than the U.S. troops (and that goes for Dutch troops just as well) now in the field.
