Dear BT electric bike peoples,

So I ordered my new bike (below).  Before I get slammed for being a slackass here's the story.

I have been borrowing a friend's old MTB with the emphasis on cardio training to start.  30 minutes a day in the 65% - 85% max HR range.  That's the primary goal; the secondary goal is to ride to work (check the Elevation Route under "Show").  The problem is that I'm only staying in that range about 30% of the time - the rest I'm above it.  I know that will change over time.  The easiest of hills kill me.  My max HR the last two rides was 184.*

In the meantime, I'll have a toy that will give me the cardio exercise I need, get me outside and on longer more interesting trips, allow me not to die doing it, let me get to work in a timely manner with a decent workout and sometimes without much showering needed (I have a shower @ work) AND give me another toy to play with.  I'll have 90 days to try it out and even if I decide I don't want it after that, I believe I'll be able to sell it for about the same price.

Eventually I see both a mountain bike and road bike in my future.  If my carpal tunnel will put up with it, that is.

* If you know anything about fitness please let me know where I need to be to 1. drop 5-10 lb and 2. get in good cardio condition.
