She also has executive experience Clinton running a campaign for her party's presidential nomination. She went from the overwhelming favorite to close but no cigar in a matter of months. She blew through most of her money by Super Tuesday and had no plan B for what she'd do if what she perceived as inevitable turned out to not be so inevitable after all. In short, in the one test of executive ability common to the three folks with the best shot to be elected President next fall, she has come up a distant third.
Until the SC primary I would have been equally happy with just about all the Democrats in her party's nomination race. After SC I felt a little guilty about holding what Bill said against Hillary, but now that Hillary has made it abundantly clear that her husband's veiled invocation of Nixon's "Southern Strategy" was no accident I am thrilled she almost certainly will not be the Democratic candidate in November.
