I do try in my car to be patient and not approach every drive as though it's a video game, but it's really hard to do sometimes. I keep fixing my car because I don't want to buy anything newer/smaller/faster which I would do if I bought something, likely.

Scooters speak to me more than motorcycles but I won't rule them out. I'm gonna go get my learner's this weekend probably; it's been years since I've owned or been on a bike. I'm not going to be in a hurry to find something and I need to do the math on how much $ I'll save in gas vs. driving:
Honda del Slow @ 25 mpg (could be 30 or more if I'd watch it but I don't), 12 mile commute, 6000 miles/year
vs
Something two-wheeled - ?? plus accessories and other stuff: helmet, cool protective gear, warm protective gear, boots, taxes, fees, license, tag, etc. |
