RBP had its place back then, but eventually evolution caught up with forums, and now it's just lagging way behind moderated forums.

Add the trend of more "local" and more specialized paddling forums and an international paddling newsgroup aimed at just about anything that floats has lost the battle...

It was good to have experienced RBP when it was vibrant and alive, and I have many fond memories of that time and the people in that group, both online and IRL.
