...and they said the drive is dead. And it doesn't even register on my machine when I plug it in. What a piece of crap - it's not even a year old.

Don't buy SEAGATE external hard drives.

wow, 30-day warranty is about as good as no warranty. I'd pay extra for a longer warranty unless it was really cheap. <NT> me New
